This is not my first rodeo with blogging. In 2011, I started blogging about my natural hair journey. Hair is still a very important part of my life. I recently started a new job, but before that I had many interviews. Part of my interview preparation involves planning how I will style my hair. The legal field, generally speaking, is a very conservative field. Despite the conservative atmosphere, I still think you should be true to yourself.
I have worn my hair in many different styles for interviews from perm rod sets to twist outs and different crochet styles. Some of my favorite interview styles are my protective crochet styles and perm rod sets. I’m currently looking for a nice wig for convenience.
I think an appropriate hair style for an interview is one which makes you comfortable. Whether you rock a wash & go, twist out or get your hair straightened. Consider the atmosphere of the place you are interviewing, but stay true to yourself. Authenticity goes a long way.
